There are days when I feel that my work is in vain. There are times when tears won't convey my pain. There are even more times when I feel it's impossible to inspire change. But in the final hour, my students find a way to shower me with love and care and remind me that it is for THEM I am there :).
I just wanted to post a poem one of my students wrote for me in honor of Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
I'm happy that you're my teacher;
I enjoy each lesson you teach.
As my role model you inspire me
to dream and to work and to reach.
With your kindness you get my attention;
Everyday you are planting a seed
of curiosity and motivation
To know and to grow and succeed.
You help me fulfill my potential;
